1/3 cup toasted, chopped almonds or hazelnuts
1 1/4 cup sugar, divided
3 T. Flour
2 T. Butter
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/3 cup melted butter
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 large egg
1/2. cup whole milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cup raspberries

Cooking Instructions

Make topping:
Combine nuts, 1/4 cup sugar, 3 T. Flour, 2 T. butter and nutmeg. Set aside.
Make muffins:
Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Whisk together egg, milk, sour cream and 1/3 cup of melted butter until smooth. Add flour, mix together and stir just until evenly moistened. Fold in raspberries. Spoon into 12 muffin cups. Top with streusel. Press streusel slightly into batter. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes.
