Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 T vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

3 T sugar mixed with 3 tsp cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 375. Line cookie sheets with parchment.
Using stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until creamed (2-3 minutes). Add eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla. Mix until fully incorporated.
Add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Mix on low until fully incorporated.
Using small cookie scoop, scoop out about 1 T balls.
Smooth the balls in your hands then dredge in cinnamon sugar mixture and place on cookie sheet approximately 2" apart.
Bake for 6-8 minutes. Allow to cool a little before removing them from the parchment to finish cooling. These freeze well.
