1 Sheet puff pastry
1 egg
1 Tablespoon water
brown sugar
almonds sliced
13 ounces brie

Cooking Instructions

1) Thaw puff pastry in refrigerator. Open it up and spread it out on Silpat. Lightly roll flat.

2) Place brie in the middle. Cover with -" brown sugar and a good handful of almonds. It's OK to moisten the brown sugar with a bit of apple juice or cider.

3) Wrap with the puff pastry, sealing very carefully or cheese will ooze out.

4) Place on Silpat or parchment and return to refrigerator. Preheat oven to 425F. When hot mix egg and water and paint the pastry. Put in over and turn heat to 375F. Bake till dark golden, about 25-30 minutes.

NOTE: Toast almond if you want.

Round brie is easiest to work with but wedge can be done.
