Brussel Sprouts (Steamed and Stir Fried): Submitted by: | Date Added: 13 Sep 2011

1 stalk Brussels sprout
1 medium lemon
cup olive oil
cup hazelnuts toasted

Cooking Instructions

1) Break sprouts from stem and cut off remainder of stem, then cut in half from the stem to the top.

2) But sprouts in wok and steam until tender but not soft.

3) Drain steaming water from wok, add butter until melted and stir fry sprouts until they begin to brown just a touch. Squeeze the lemon over this and mix in. Add hazelnuts if desired.

NOTE: Pecans are perhaps better than hazelnuts.
