2 pounds pork butt
medium onion cut in half
1 large clove garlic
1 tablespoon salt
teaspoon oregano crushed
teaspoon ground cumin
garlic salt

Cooking Instructions

1) Place meat in a 3-quart saucepan. Add water to cover, onion, garlic, salt, oregano and cumin. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 2 hours.

2) Preheat oven to 350F. Drain meat, reserving broth for another use. Place meat in a baking pan. Sprinkle meat evenly with salt or garlic salt. Bake 45 minutes.

3) Remove from oven. While still warm, use 2 forks to shred meat.
