Chocolate Coconut Almond Sprinkles: Date Added: 13 Sep 2011

13 cup raw almonds with skins finely chopped
1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
3 ounces bittersweet chocolate finely chopped
pinch pinch salt

Cooking Instructions

1) Preheat oven 350F. Toast almonds 5-10 minutes until golden, then transfer to a bowl.

2) Toast coconut until golden 8-12 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle coconut and almonds over chocolate. Add a large pinch of salt, when chocolate is melted, about five minutes, then toss until coconut and almonds are coated.

3) Transfer to waxed paper and cool until hardened about 1 hours.

NOTE: Had at wedding.
