1 pound butter
1 pound sugar
1 pound flour
12 eggs separated
1 pound glazed cherries
1 pound glazed pineapple
1 pound pecan meats
2 pounds blanched raisins
3 Tablespoons vanilla

Cooking Instructions

1) Cut fruits and nuts in pieces and dredge in flour.

2) Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Beat egg yolks well and add to the creamed mixture. Add vanilla, flour, fruits, and nuts and mix thoroughly.

3) Beat egg whites until stiff and fold through mixture.

4) Pour into two greased and lined 8x8x3" pans preferably tube.

5) Bake in hot oven 450F for 10 minutes then decrease heat to slow oven for 270F for 1 hours. DO NOT OVER-BAKE.
